Each year the OAS Secretary General publishes a proposed Program-Budget for the coming calendar year. The OAS General Assembly meets in a Special Session to approve the Program-Budget. Find these documents from 1998-2013 here.
Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.
Approximately six weeks after the end of each semester, the OAS publishes a Semiannual Management and Performance Report, which since 2013 includes reporting on programmatic results. The full texts may be found here.

The OAS has discussed for several years the real estate issue, the funding required for maintenance and repairs, as well as the deferred maintenance of its historic buildings. The General Secretariat has provided a series of options for funding it. The most recent document, reflecting the current status of the Strategy, is CP/CAAP-3211/13 rev. 4.

PRESENTACIÓN DEL INFORME 20 AÑOS PROCESO BELIZE GUATEMALA

Buenos días,
En este vigésimo aniversario de la Misión del Proceso de Belize y Guatemala, reflexionamos sobre dos décadas de esfuerzos incansables para promover la paz y la estabilidad en la región.
A lo largo de los años, nos hemos enfrentado a desafíos importantes. Sin embargo, cada paso ha estado marcado por la perseverancia y el compromiso de las partes por identificar puntos de encuentro y coincidencia, y eso ha sido fundamental en nuestro trabajo.
Se puede mirar hacia atrás con orgullo, pero fundamentalmente debemos mirar hacia adelante, al trabajo que queda por hacer.
Se han alcanzado avances determinantes hacia la resolución de esta disputa. De igual forma, se han establecido mecanismos de cooperación y se han sentado las bases para una relación sólida y fructífera entre ambas partes.
Quedan tareas pendientes por abordar, pero el proceso no ha perdido impulso ni ha experimentado retrocesos. Más bien, sigue avanzando de manera constante y progresiva.
Este es un proceso complejo, y continuará incluso más allá de la decisión de la Corte Internacional de Justicia. La administración del fallo será absolutamente fundamental.
Tengan la plena seguridad que desde la Organización de los Estados Americanos seguiremos apoyando a ambos países en sus esfuerzos, comprometidos con la paz y la estabilidad en la región.
Quiero expresar mi más sincero agradecimiento a las personas e instituciones que han contribuido a esta Misión a lo largo de los años. Especialmente, quisiera reconocer las labores del Representante Especial de la Secretaría General para los Asuntos de Belize y Guatemala hoy aquí, el Embajador Agustín Espinosa, quien ha desarrollado un importantísimo trabajo. Manuel Juan Washington Abdala que también realizó un importante trabajo y una enorme gestión.
Pero todos deben ser reconocidos.
Agradezco, fundamentalmente, a los gobiernos de Belize y Guatemala por la confianza depositada en la Organización de los Estados Americanos. La presencia de la Vicecanciller de Belize, Embajadora Amalia Mai, y del Asesor y Enviado Especial del Presidente de Guatemala, Embajador Francisco Villagrán, son una muestra del compromiso de ambos países con este camino hacia una paz duradera.

En el marco de este vigésimo aniversario son naturales las evaluaciones y el recuento. Los invito también a mirar hacia el futuro con determinación y esperanza. La voluntad de diálogo, de paz, de entendimiento es un mensaje esencial para la región y el mundo en los tiempos que vivimos.
